Official opening of Ohtels Gran Hotel Almería after its complete renovation

The hotel, one of the most emblematic in the city, reopened last April.

The Ohtels Hotels & Resorts chain has reopened the Gran Hotel Almería in the Andalusian city, following a complete renovation of the establishment, both inside and out, which began in October 2024. Although the hotel officially opened on April 15th and many guests have since enjoyed its new look and completely renovated facilities, the official opening event took place today, June 26th. Among those in attendance were the Mayor of Almería, María del Mar Vázquez; the Delegate of the Andalusian Regional Government in Almería, Aránzazu Martín; and the Territorial Delegate for Employment, Business and Self-Employment in Almería of the Andalusian Regional Government, Amos García. The Territorial Delegate of Tourism, Culture and Sport in Almería of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan José Alonso and the deputy of Agri-food Promotion, Commerce and Consumption of the Provincial Council of Almería, Carlos Sánchez.
Also in attendance were the city's culture councillor, Diego Cruz, and tourism councillor, Joaquín Perez de la Blanca, among other authorities from Almería.
